By using SoundUp you accept these terms. They are written to be understood: if a rule seems odd, the reason for it is right next to it.
SoundUp is a platform where emerging artists publish their own music and the audience backs it by spending credits. Every vote costs credits and feeds two public values: the track's popularity and its hype index. Backing a track before it grows earns you experience and moves you up the Scout ranks.
Credits are a digital consumable. You buy them, you receive some for free every day, and you consume them by voting.
When you vote, the credits you commit are consumed: they do not come back, whether the track rises or falls. That is what makes a vote a real choice rather than a free like.
This is not trading and not gambling. You buy nothing that can be resold, there is no payout, and nobody can make money from votes. The reward is influence: your rank rises and your vote starts to weigh more than other people's.
By publishing a track you declare that you hold the rights to do so: that the music is yours, or that the rights holder has authorised you. Uploading someone else's music is the most serious violation possible here, because SoundUp's catalogue exists only thanks to the trust of the artists who put their own work into it.

Labelling a track's origin as Human, AI or Hybrid truthfully is part of this commitment.
It stays yours. By publishing on SoundUp you grant us only a licence — non-exclusive, revocable, royalty-free — to host, reproduce and display your content inside the app, for as long as you choose to keep it online.
If you delete a track or close your account, that licence ends and the content is removed.
Every track, post, profile and message can be reported from inside the app. Reports go into a queue that gets reviewed; depending on what comes out, content may be removed and an account suspended or closed.
The number of reports hides nothing on its own: content does not disappear because five people reported it. That would be a censorship tool in the hands of five people. Reports order the queue; a person makes the decision.

SoundUp is provided “as is”. We do what we can to keep it working and your data safe, but we cannot guarantee that it is always reachable or free of errors. We are not responsible for content published by users, which remains the responsibility of whoever publishes it.
Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer.
You can close your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, stating the reason, except where the law prevents it. Credits left unused at the time of a closure for violation are not refunded.
If we change these terms, the date and version number at the top change, and anyone with an account is notified inside the app. Continuing to use SoundUp after that notice means accepting the new version.
Italian law applies. For consumers, the court of your place of residence or domicile remains competent, and the mandatory rules of your country of residence in the European Union continue to apply.
